Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashah is welcoming a new member to the family. Monaz Mevawalla is going to enter the show soon as Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi.

Monaz Views On Joining ‘TMKOC’
Monaz expressed her enthusiasm for joining ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. She said, “I am thrilled and proud to be part of the TMKOC family. I love the role and am grateful to Mr.Modi for this opportunity. I’ll put all my energy and heart into this character.”
She further added, “Having previously worked with Mr Modi, I love his passion and dedication to every TMKOC member for the past 15 years.”
Why Did Jenifer Mistry Quit TMKOC?
Jenifer Mistry played the role of Mrs Roshan Signh Sodhi for 13 years (2008–2013; 2016–2023). The actress quit the show in April 2023 and accused Asit Kumar Modi of unprofessionalism and harassment. Her exit turned out in a huge controversy.
After she left, the character Roshan was depicted as having gone to her parents’ house. Now after several months, the makers have found her replacement.

Monaz Mevawalla has worked in several shows like – Jabb Love Hua, Baalveer, Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga, Ardhangini – Ek Khoobsurat Jeevan Saathi and more. Recently she did a cameo in another Sab TV show ‘Waghle Ki Duniya’.
